It may sound too feminine for a man, but her husband loves it. After all, it does create a ‘romantic atmosphere’! You will see how Vicky combined the old with the new to create the cozy, romantic bedroom she was dreaming of! It all started with a bolt of floral fabric.

The chest was handed down from a grandparent. Vicky is painted in white enamel and painted the cottage drawer pulls in Southern Belle Pink. On top it has a few vintage teapots and an aviary.
The mirror was bought new at Lowes. The frame was originally silver but they painted it to match the White Cottage on the chest.
The rattan table by the window through the bed, a sewing table she bought at an antique shop. It makes a great night stand sue for custody, because she has to keep a storage space, magazines or books. On top she placed a rose bowl antique clock and potpourri.

This hat is on a pasture sewing table lamp by the bed setting. She found it in an antique shop and it seems to be homemade. The shadow is actually a pink feathered hat with fringe and beads attached. The crystal base, when filled with rose petals. The floor is a slab placed on the head! You can see why this lamp is a perfect fit for this room was!

The Dresser was found an antique shop. It was original, as it was already know. There is a rose-scented candle with a rose candle topper sitting on the chest with two lamps on a marble base and a few other vintage items she took here and there.

The Picture Collage prints are from a book of prints bought on sale and the frames came from Wal-Mart (on sale too)!
The bank was on her porch and the original black. They painted it in the Southern Belle and added some pink floral Wallies on the seat cushions have made the covers at each end of extra fabric from the chair and ottoman. The pillow in the middle is a Shabby Chic rose cross stitch.
The chandelier has roses and crystals. She ordered this online and the pink was more “peach,” as they wanted, so she painted the roses in pink Southern Belle too! It also uses silicone flicker candelabra bulbs that appear to make very realistic light as candles. It adds a romantic touch others in the room!
