To design a holiday home that offers panoramic views over the lake and surrounding forest. The program included a contextual analysis of stay and modern enough and bedrooms to accommodate a large extended family weekend vacation getaways. This house is located on a wooded site located on the lake in a traditional subdivision. Now the west is a house nearby, and is an unspoilt nature reserve. Its south face fronts the lake and a private dock, and north aisle access public street subdivision.

To maximize the panoramic view, the 4829 SF home is partially built into the steeply sloping site which reduces the visual impact of the house from the street. Input channel that leads visitors through the site and the house divides the main volume of the structure in different public and private areas, causing a spectacular view over the lake framed at the entrance. Both wood and glass volumes rest on a stone base that extends to the north side to ensure the confidentiality of the street. The low sloping roof towards the public area overlooking the forest, while the private area opens to the water. Warm, rustic materials about the wooded nature reserve and the natural landscape, while clean lines and minimal interior express client affinity for modern design.
