JAM* Architects have designed the Villa Vollebregt in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The house Ellen and Erik Vollebregt the Cattails Avenue in New Amsterdam IJburg VINEX district is part of the Little Reed Island, where private property could achieve their individual clients. In the urban plan of John Bosch, with a square-like opening and the typical high garden walls adjacent to public space, the property restrained and relatively closed to the street.

The contrast is great with the spectacular interior, rich with daylight and panoramic to the rear overlooking the water on the old Diemerzeedijk. The terraced house is organized around a number of patios, courtyards and voids, which the daylight deep into the building to enter and surprising vistas care.
